The new Iberian Energy Storage Research Center CIIAE will be developed in three buildings: Main Building, Incubator Building, and Pilot Plant Building, and will be equipped with laboratories that will allow the development of the entire energy storage cycle, from the physical chemistry of materials, to their scaling and application, to the testing of connected storage systems. It will also have unique infrastructures for testing high-power equipment, and networks and microgrids for advanced management pilots.
The layout of the buildings along the longest axis of each plot optimizes the growth conditions of each one of them, since it allows for future expansions by freeing up enough space to extend the buildings proposed in the proposal, according to the attached diagram, with the same dimensional and constructive characteristics.
